Safety is our number one priority and at the heart of everything we do. Barr has the leading safety program in the industry led by a dedicated safety team committed to excellence. Barr’s aircraft are maintained to 135 standards and Barr was the first light aircraft company in the nation to have a Safety Management System (“SMS”) which has been fully functioning since 2008. Barr’s pilots, many of whom meet airline requirements, undergo rigorous training and frequent recurrent training. Every aircraft is upfitted with real time satellite tracking, collision avoidance and satellite weather.

Barr has a comprehensive drug and alcohol program and maintains an FAA 135 certificate. Barr has numerous certifications and annually undergoes rigorous customer and FAA audits.
